drowning....

this is the first week that i've felt overwhelmed with my elle + ollie shop. i thought up until this last week that i had been handling all the orders well and that i was managing my time wisely (aka: no social life) but last week just caught me off guard.

2 goals, people. 2:
1. finish and ship all applique orders on friday.
2. finish and ship all dress orders today.

mission impossible. i failed miserably. but did get all applique orders shipped today and am finishing the last 5 dresses tonight...i got a big gigantic diet coke at target and i'll probably brew a pot of coffee next!



the applique shirts all turned out really cute! and they were the funnest orders to do. all orders were from friends wanting stuff for their babies. the best part, they didn't care what i did! love. that. and love more than anything that they have that much faith in me. humbling.

i had been wanting to add some boy items to the shop so it worked out perfectly! hopefully will get those listed tomorrow, but realistically it will probably be wednesday evening. that takes more time than you might think. i'm always at a loss when its time to describe what i'm listing!

but with that overwhelming, drowning feeling, came such feeling of gratitude. i could have never ever imagined that in 5 short months i would have made 60 sales! i seriously thought maybe 12 in a year. so thank you to any and everyone that has taken an interest in elle + ollie handmades. it really means a lot!
