baby #2 {23 weeks}

it was a good week of pregnancy! we hung out with daddy some. put our house back in order. took lots of naps. shopped a little. and got ready for the week to come. back in the swing of things whether we like it or not.

had another visit with our midwife this week. it was supposed to be next week (every 4th week for now) but i moved it up a week because i had a babysitter available this week and wasn't sure i would be able to find one next week.

just like at every visit, this week i was measured, and for the first time ever since my prenatal visits began i was measuring right on track at 23 weeks. previous visits i've always measured 2 to 3 weeks behind, so i guess that explains all the weight gain. eek. that's definitely my excuse. really i'd gain 500 pounds as long as i have a healthy, bouncing baby boy. but i just really don't want to. it's not ideal. especially when you have a toddler to keep up with. and ultimately, i want to feel good at the end of this pregnancy.

starting to feel the normal pregnancy aches and pains. still have yet to start the yoga (which i think will really help). but, honest to goodness, i have all intentions in the world to. maybe this week is the week.

here's to a new week. a fresh start. it really is just feeling like the beginning of the new year to me since we are headed back to work and the babysitters this week. as much as i've enjoyed our lazy days at home, i'm excited to have some routine back in our days. maybe i can keep up with what day it is.
