wow! that went by fast!
i still can't believe i am already 30 weeks (31 on tuesday). simply nuts! while we do still have some time to prepare, i'm starting to feel the pressure! and more than pressure....anticipation. we are so excited to meet our little guy.
we had our first bi-weekly prenatal visit this week and all is looking great. measured right on track at 30 weeks. and only gained .2 pounds in the last 2 weeks. ha! i've been very under the weather since last saturday (while in kansas city) with a horrible sinus infection. finally had to get a prescription. so did not have any appetite all week.
one of the first things i told lucy (our midwife) at our visit was how big i thought harry was. i told her i felt him everywhere. way down low (like trying to bust out low) and up-in-my-ribcage high. i do not remember that feeling with elle. but after feeling around on harry for a little bit she confirmed that he did not by any means feel like a big baby. at the appointment he was tranverse but i think he's positioned himself head down again because i am feeling a little more relief.
we have another visit with lucy in 2 weeks! and then we will have our first home visit at 34 weeks! and after that we are in the home stretch. he is "allowed" to be born anytime after 36 weeks. at one point i was totally feeling like he would be an on time baby or maybe a little late. he was just so chill and quiet in there for the longest time, but lately i don't know what's going on. elle was born at 37 weeks, 4 days gestation. so i would not be surprised if he comes a little early or hangs on till 40+ weeks.
on our drive home from our visit, aaron and i could not quit talking about who we thought harry would be. what would he look like? act like? when we got home, i had to look back at pics of elle. these were around 5 months. her newborn pics are on our hard drive and i didn't want to try to find them. ha!
she was such a chunk! these pictures make me laugh! how we can't wait for another sweet baby to be in our family. our dreams are quickly coming true. april will be here before we know it.
happy saturday!
