for our little man

in complete honesty i never thought shopping for a boy would be fun. and i'm still not really "there" yet. i've been dressing a girly girl for so long that boy clothes seem so foreign to me. but, i am starting to get more and more excited about it. one thing i have learned about shopping for a boy is that each store or website only has a handful of cute things for boys so you don't have too many choices!

elle's style is all over the place. i love her in skinny jeans, t-shirt and toms but i also love her in something really girly like ruffles and lace. and that's kind of how i am with a boy too. harry's style will be all over the place too. i really don't know how to categorize what i like....stripes, skinny jeans, knits, bow ties, printed socks, cropped pants, sweater vests. like a j.crew male model shrunk down into a baby i guess. and i love the occasional john john, but a little of that goes a long way for me. but for a wittle bitty baby. i love soft and cuddly. i learned that with elle. you do not put your 7 week old in skinny jeans. the dressing fun will really start when harry starts walking. oh my.

we were so fortunate to receive a loot of baby boy clothes from my sweet friend, melissa. its all baby gap or boutique and in excellent condition. and hopefully the perfect size for our harry. since being blessed with all that we haven't felt that we really need to buy harry any "good" clothes. so, i've been stocking up on good onesies, knit pants and sweet newborn knits. loungewear if you will.

but, i've been perusing h&m online and this week got the boden catalog. oh my soul. that is some serious cute boy stuff. i will be shopping there. saving every penny for harry's wardbrobe there. their girl stuff is also to die for.
