december recap {aka picture overload}

our december in a lot of pictures and not too many words....

we decorated gingerbread houses. 2 to be exact!

i tried to get pictures of the kids (in the dress and bowtie i made, in front of our first live christmas tree). as you can see i didn't have much luck.

we took a day trip to silver dollar city. it was fun. cold, but fun.

sat on santa's lap and told him what we wanted for christmas. harry loved the jolly old man. elle did too.

had our annual pajama party at aaron's parents house. cozy and chaotic (is that an oxymoron?) as usual.

got ready for santa's arrival with a letter, pictures, cookies and milk.

he came! he really came! elle was so excited and could not believe it!

hooray for Jesus!
hooray for santa, hooray for wrapping paper to chew on and gifts to open!!

such a fun, simple morning with my little family! the magic was alive in our house.

after opening all of santa's presents, we headed over to my parents for the day. it was the best christmas to date....such a treat to spend the whole day with the people i love the most!

merry late christmas friends!

for God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.
